Leg length discrepancies, spines that aren't as straight as they could be, bulging discs, poor posture, tight muscles, weak muscles, too much sitting, too much standing, pronated feet, supinated feet, stress, the list of potential back pain causes is endless.
The problem with all these suggestions is that there is very little evidence to support any of them as being a primary cause of back pain. There are people out there that have various combinations of all of the above and get by just fine without so much as the slightest twinge.
So what is causing your back pain?
Pain is the red light on the dash board that tells you something is wrong. What is doesn't tell you is what and where the problem is. The problem may be in your back, your hip, your foot, in what you're eating or how you are dealing with your stress.
At Integra our area of expertise is the muscular system. If your back pain is being caused by weakness anywhere in your muscular system then we will find it, activate and strengthen it. We are however, open minded enough to realise that back pain is sometimes multifactorial and that looking at your life in a little more detail can produce outstanding results.
