How We Work

We observe, design, coach, and refine with clarity and intention.

The Details Matter

Training begins with you

Your structure, your movement, your response.

Since 1997, we've been refining a practice grounded in observation, experimentation, and precision.

Every rep reveals something about you.

You'll notice changes in places you weren't expecting. That's what happens when someone's actually paying attention.

One trainer leads your project

The whole team shapes your programme. Weekly reviews, shared decision-making, multiple perspectives on your progress.

You're not relying on one person's view - you're getting a team that thinks together about what you need next.

Our approach

Guided by principles

01

Your structure leads

Your anatomy determines which exercises work for you. Your joints. Your proportions. Your capacity.

02

Every rep is information

You'll start noticing things you never saw before - where the effort peaks, where the range shifts, what your body is actually doing. That's when training becomes investigation.

03

Specificity matters

The smallest change that creates new demand is the most efficient one. We find that threshold and work there.

04

Transfer is the goal

Strength that stays in the gym isn't useful. We build capability that transfers to the things you actually do.

Every exercise is an experiment. Every rep tells us something. That's how we keep getting it right.

The Integra Method

How we design your training

Our Foundation

Exercise Mechanics

The application of engineering and physics to exercise. We use it to understand the body, design exercises, choose and manipulate equipment, and coach movement for your specific needs.

For over 20 years, we've studied with Tom Purvis, founder of RTS (Resistance Training Specialist), who brought these principles to the exercise world. We don't just apply them - we teach them. That's how we know they work.

Michael Goulden

UK's first Mastery-level RTS practitioner. RTS Faculty since 2012. MSc Biomechanics.

Roberta Watts

First person globally to certify at RTS Level 2.

Modalities:

Exercise mechanics informs everything we do - across resistance training, conditioning, manual therapy, and coaching. Each modality serves the approach. The combination adapts to what you need.

Five pillars. Systematically integrated.

We don't address everything at once. We address what matters for you.

Optimising Results

Three phases. Progressive development.

Phase 01
Foundation

Building the pieces.
Joint range, control, and muscle function.

Phase 02
Integration

Building the body.
Stronger joints, stronger muscles, greater capacity.

Phase 03
Performance

Building what you can do.
Applying capability to sport, events, or life.

Phases respond to where you are and where you're heading.
