The origin.
Integra began in 1997 with a simple observation: most training programmes assume your body is average. They're built on templates, not assessments. On trends, not evidence.
What started as a personal training practice evolved into something different - a methodology grounded in biomechanics, systematic assessment, and continuous refinement. A practice, not a gym.
Today, Integra operates from our fourth studio in Brick Lane, with a team of practitioners who've trained in the same methodology we use with every client.

The discipline.
Biomechanics is the science of how your body moves. But understanding movement isn't enough - you need to apply it to training.
Exercise mechanics is that application: the precise use of biomechanical principles to design exercises, select equipment, and coach movement for your specific structure.
We have spent over 20 years studying with Tom Purvis, founder of RTS, who brought engineering and physics principles to the exercise world, in the form of exercise mechanics.
Michael is the first Mastery-level Resistance Training Specialist (RTS) in the UK. Roberta was the first ever RTS Level 2 certified trainer in the world.
We teach RTS and exercise mechanics in the UK, attracting personal trainers and physiotherapists globally.
Every trainer in our studio has completed this training. Every session you receive is built on it.
"Biomechanics is the science. Exercise mechanics is the application. Coaching is the delivery."
Three values.
No compromise.
01
Precision
Every exercise selection, every cue, every progression is deliberate. We don't guess. We measure, test, and refine based on evidence.
02
Curiosity
Every client teaches us something. Every session generates data. We stay students of the work - questioning assumptions, exploring what's possible.
03
Integrity
We tell you what we observe, not what you want to hear. Honest assessment is the foundation of real progress.
The education arm.
We don't just apply the methodology - we teach it. Through Integra EDU, we've been training fitness professionals since 2002.
Our courses include Exercise Mechanics Lab, RTS Foundations, and The Integra Project - attracting personal trainers and physiotherapists globally.
The methodology we use with you is the same one we teach to fitness professionals in the UK & globally. Our teaching keeps us sharp - constantly questioning, refining, and improving how we work.
